Alton Towers Resort was celebrating the 10 Years of CBeebies Land, the dedicated kids' area within the Resort Theme Park.
The Challenge
The challenge was to develop a vibrant, festival-style theme that would highlight the special events happening during the May Half Term and into the summer and effectively communicate them to families with young children. The team required a variety of materials, including posters, social media assets, animated graphics, and CRM headers, as well as designing a brand-new logo for the recently launched Sensory Space within CBeebies Land.
Our Approach
To capture the excitement of the 10-year anniversary, we designed a festival-inspired theme that was playful, colourful, and engaging. The goal was to bring the family-friendly atmosphere of CBeebies Land to life, promoting the anniversary celebrations and the events taking place over the May Half Term and summer.
We kicked off the campaign with a teaser on social media to build anticipation, followed by a full launch in July once more imagery and content became available. The assets were designed to be versatile, ensuring the message remained consistent across multiple formats, from posters to digital assets.
In addition to designing the anniversary events, we were also tasked with designing a brand-new logo for the recently launched Sensory Space within CBeebies Land. This logo needed to convey a calming, immersive experience, while still staying true to the playful identity of CBeebies Land.
The Result
The campaign successfully captured the excitement of CBeebies Land’s 10-year anniversary, driving engagement during the May Half Term and beyond.
The teaser campaign helped create a sense of anticipation, which translated into strong participation in the anniversary events and continued engagement into the summer.
The Sensory Space logo was well received, establishing a distinct and thoughtful brand for the new Sensory Space while maintaining the fun, approachable feel of CBeebies Land.
